Goaltender Linus Ullmark signed a one-year, $2.6 million contract to remain with the Buffalo Sabres.
The team announced the deal on Sunday night, hours before a salary arbitration hearing that was set for Monday.
Ullmark, 27, was 17-14-3 in 34 starts in 2019-20. He had a .915 save percentage and a 2.69 goals-against average.
The Sabres selected the Swede in the sixth round of the 2012 NHL Draft. In 97 career games (92 starts), he has a 41-41-10 record with a .911 save percentage and 2.81 GAA to go with three shutouts.
