The San Jose Sharks re-signed restricted free agent forwards Dylan Gambrell and Antti Suomela on Thursday.
The 22-year-old Gambrell agreed to a two-year contract and the 25-year-old Suomela reached a one-year deal. No financial terms were disclosed.
A second-round pick in the 2016 draft, Gambrell has not scored in 11 regular-season games with the Sharks over the past two seasons.
Gambrell did score San Jose’s only goal in a season-ending 5-1 loss at St. Louis in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals.
Suomela, originally signed as an undrafted free agent in June 2018, tallied three goals and five assists in 27 games during his rookie season in 2018-19.
